Drilling Rigs

Gas Fire Plant Engineer International Contractor is on its way to become a significant contractor in the ultra deepwater segment.

Gas Fire Plant Engineer International Contractor has one of the youngest and most advanced rig fleets in the industry. We operate a modern fleet which includes the largest harsh environment jack-up rigs in the world and a number of ultra deepwater drillships and deepwater semi-submersible rigs.

Gas Fire Plant Engineer International Contractor has been a leading innovator in jack-up drilling rigs for many years, and today we hold the leading position within the high efficiency segment, as we have implemented many of the innovative features from our ultra harsh environment jack-ups in a new rig standard.

We operate a number of jack-ups, all state-of-the-art with advanced features supporting safe, efficient and reliable operation. Our four newest rigs have been custom-designed to set new industry standards within the category of 350 ft. jack-up rigs. Compared to standard jack-ups, they operate with increased efficiency and incorporate a host of improved technical capabilities. This allows for faster drilling processes, faster in-field rig moves and many other operational advantages.

Our highly advanced deepwater development semi-submersibles are capable of operating in ultra-deep water up to 3,000 m. They offer both flexibility and efficiency for our customers. They are also among the most sophisticated semi-submersibles in the industry. The newest rigs are capable of drilling 10,000 m (30,000 ft) into the sub-soil measured from the seabed. This makes the rig particularly well-suited to drilling in deep and geologically complicated areas like the Gulf of Mexico.

Our new generation of semi-submersible rigs features state-of-the-art drilling technology. They include a number of innovative features, which enhance the rigs' flexibility by making multiple concurrent activities possible. Back-up facilities and solutions are generally provided to reduce the impact of equipment failures, and the hull design and layout are based on the operational experience of various deepwater operators and third party system suppliers. We have incorporated a series of innovative ideas from our potential customers.
